MOTOGP: JORGE LORENZO TO JOIN MARC MARQUEZ AT HONDA

Jorge Lorenzo will join Marc Marquez according to Honda...Lorenzo has not been happy with Ducati and his performance at Ducati has left him at 10th place with just 41 points to his name.

His soon to be teammate Marc Marquez is is 54 points ahead.

Lorenzo won for the 1st time at Mugello with his Desmosedici bike.

He sounded less optimistic with his future with Ducati.

A short statement from Honda said "From 2019, Lorenzo will become team-mate with four-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez: two great champions with great talent and high hopes that will make a stronger team and contribute to the development of HRC"

Suzuki wanted Lorenzo but now they will settle for Moto2 rookie Joan Mir.

Andrea Iannone may shift to Aprilia while Ducati will settle for Danilo Petrucci from Pramac.
