Tanzania will host the upcoming PGA European Tour in April next year.
The Professional Golfers' Association tournament will be held for the first time in Tanzania.
Only five countries in Africa have had that privilege of hosting golf professionals from around the world.
Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and Nigeria have so far hosted such an event.
The event will take place in the Arusha region at the private estate of Kilimanjaro Golf and Wildlife Estate, popularly known as Kili Golf Course.
The course is about 1,040 acres and will be graced by about 3,000 visitors for the event. The course is situated in between two volcanic mountains, Mount Meru & Mount Kilimanjaro.
