Aminata Diallo has been released from custody after assaulting fellow teammate.
French International and Paris Saint-Germain Duallo was relieved by police pending an investigation over the assault on teammate.
The news has rocked and shocked France whereby the case was Kheria Hamraoui, fellow teammate, who was pulled from a car and beaten with an iron bar by two masked men.
She sustained cuts and bruises on her legs and hands and was stiched.
Diallo was driving her teammate after coming from dinner hosted by PSG when the incident happened.
Police were questioning Diallo to find out if she had any involvement in the incident.
PSG cancelled a press conference about the shocking incident.
Diallo played a match in the absence of her teammate.
The PSG women's team was unfazed by the incident and went on to beat Barcelona 4-0 convincingly.
So far Diallo is presumed innocent pending police investigation.
