Boating was fined $2 million in a court in Munich after he was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Sherin Senler three years ago.
The assault took allegedly took place in 2018 in the Caribbean when on holiday.
Jerome denied the charges while giving out testimony for two hours in a court room overseen by Judge Kai Dingerdessen.
The prosecutor Stefanie Eckert wanted the court to fine Boateng 1.5 euros and a 18 month suspended jail sentence.
The 2014 World Cup winner is now playing for the french side Lyon after being with Bayern Munich for a decade.
The two ex lovers are also fighting for custody of their twin daughters who live with Boateng.
After the verdict Boateng left the court in a hurry with his bodyguards, jumped into his SUV and sped away.
2021 has not been a good year for Boateng as he lost his ex girlfriend and model Lenhardt by way of suicide when he was away playing for Bayern Munich at the Club World Cup in Qatar.
