He is currently the 6th fastest marathon runner in the world.
His best time in 2 hours, three minutes and 13 seconds.
His management team Volare Sports has denied that Kipsang failed a drug test.
"The accusation regarding the alleged/attempted tampering concerns an explanation that was given in the results management process regarding a Whereabouts Failure does not concern tampering with a doping test itself," said Volare Sport.
