GERMAN NATIONAL TEAM REACHED HOME SAFELY AFTER EMERGENCY LANDING IN SCOTLAND

Germany National Team has reached home safely after being stuck at Edinburgh Airport tarmac for six hours.

The plane took an emergency detour to Scotland after pilots determined that the plane was faulty.

At about 29,000FT pilots declared and emergency and at that time the plane was three miles west of Arbroath on the east coast. 

It took 20 minutes to land and there after the plane was grounded for further inspections.

Players were put in a replacement plane after it was found out that the replacement generator has problems.

The team remained in the aircraft because they wanted to maintain a Covid-19 bubble.

Their initial flight itinerary was on a Klasjet flight KLJ2703 from Reykjavik to Frankfurt after winning their World Cup match against Iceland.
