Willian has torn up his contract with Arsenal and he is heading to Brazil to further his carrier.
In a gesture that has surprised Arsenal, William is leaving behind 20.5 million pounds with two years left on his contract.
His wages at the club were 240,000 plus a week.
The club said in a statement, "Following positive and constructive recent discussions with him.and his team, he will be leaving for new opportunity with Corinthians in Brazil, where he begun his career.
"Everyobe at Arsenal wishes Willian and his family well for the future."
