Sneakers worn by music producer & hip-hop star Kanye West during the 50th Anniversary Grammy Awards, 2008, has sold for a record price.
Sotheby's said the sale shattered the current auction record of sneakers by three times and it's the 1st recorded sale over $1 million.
Nike Air Jordan 1 was sold for $615,000. That was the previous record for a sale of sneakers.
Nike Air Yeezy 1 ( Us size 12, UK size 11) was acquired by sneaker investing platform Raresapp for $1.8 million
