Marc Overmars is set to return to north London as a director at the Gunners fort.
The Arsenal legend is currently the director of football at Ajax.
He has been very successful at Ajax with his recruitment methods of which Arsenal have fallen short hence the exit of Sven Mislintat.
Mislintat is leaving the club after he was not considered in a role as a director.
