YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE SINGER GERRY MARSDEN DIES AT 78


British musician who transformed a song and made it one of the world's most popular sports anthem has passed away at 78.

You'll Never Walk alone came from Rogers and Hammerstein musical "Carousel" and became Liverpool's anthem that is celebrated worldwide. 

The lead singer from Gerry and the Pacemaker died from an infection in the heart according to his friend Pete Price.

"I'm sending all the love in the world to (his wife) Pauline and his family," he said. "You'll Walk Alone."
