Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz walk out onto the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium in Aruba for their Concacaf U15 Championship game against Belize on Monday. Jamaica beat hosts Aruba at the same stadium 4-0 yesterday.

JAMAICA’S UNDER-15 Reggae Boyz won their second game in a row at the Concacaf Boys U15 Championships yesterday, defeating host nation Aruba 4-0 at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium in League B, Group D action.

A brace from Carlondo Morris (25th minute, 56th) along with strikes from Kelvin Brown (59th) and Kyle Hussey (70th+2) saw the Boyz maintain their perfect start to the Championships.

Jamaica controlled much of the proceedings and opened the scoring when Morris met a delivery into the box from Brown with a tidy one-time finish.

Morris would double the lead just before the hour mark when he ran past two defenders to slot the ball just outside of the reach of the onrushing goalkeeper.

Jamaica would not need to wait long for their third goal of the contest as Brown got his goal just three minutes later.

A poor attempt at a clearance from the Aruban defence allowed Brown to spring into action down the right channel, firing the ball low into the bottom corner from a tight angle.

Hussey would complete the rout when in time added, he scored the game’s fourth.

The substitute worked hard for the finish, rounding his marker to poke home from close range.

Earlier in the afternoon, Belize recovered from their opening defeat to Jamaica, defeating Curaçao 2-1 in a dramatic come-from-behind victory.

The result opens the door for Jamaica to take full control of the group as they remain the only team with a perfect record.

The young Boyz lead the standings with six points from two games while Curaçao sit second with three points, the same as Belize, over whom they hold a one-goal advantage.

Aruba, who are still without a win, sit at the foot of the table without a point.

The final day of group action will take place today as Jamaica takes on Curacao at 1 p.m. while Belize will face off against Aruba at 3 p.m.

Both games will be played at the Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium.

Jamaica will enter the fixture knowing that they can book their spot in the League B semi-finals should they avoid defeat.

Fielding a largely second-string roster for the Gold Cup, North America’s long-running biennial championship, the United States needed a late equalizer from substitute Brandon Vazquez to open the tournament with 1-1 draw against Jamaica on Saturday night at Soldier Field in Chicago.
