World tennis star Naomi Osaka will not be playing in this years Australian Open in Melbourne.
Naomi has slipped to number 42 in the world rankings due to not being in action since September.
Osaka has not given any reason as to why she opted out of the Australian Open.
Ukraine's Dayara Yastremska has taken her place in the draw.
Other notable stars that will miss the Open that starts on the 16th of January are seven-time Grand Slam Champion Venus Williams and world number one Carlos Alcaraz.
