France is not going to boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics like other western counterparts.
Britain, United States, Australia and Canada will not be sending officials to China in order to send a message to China over human rights issues.
“As for a diplomatic boycott…France will not do it.” Said French Education Minister, Jean-Michel Banquer on BFM TV.
“Sports is a world in itself, which must be protected from political interference.”
