CONGRATULATIONS! At just 29 years old, Erin Jackson carved her name into the record books as the first Black woman to win Olympic gold in speed skating From the sun-soaked streets of Ocala, Florida, to the icy intensity of the Winter Olympics, her journey is nothing short of remarkable.
Erin’s victory is bigger than a medal. It challenged long-held stereotypes in a sport where representation has been rare. Erin says, “Hopefully it’s just a stepping stone. I’d love to see more people come after me. Right? It’d be awesome if I wasn’t the first, but I’ll do my best to be a good example.” Let's spread the word about this amazing athlete!
