He will not yield under any circumstance

The higher-ups at Bayern Munich are known for their brash statements, most of which are completely unnecessary. Not only is it incredibly distracting but it is also a bad look for the club. Some of the club’s past coaches have fallen victim to all this excess noise, but Vincent Kompany wants absolutely nothing to do with it.

A report from Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschãffl and Heiko Niedderer (via @iMiaSanMia) says that Kompany ignored what Uli Hoeneß said about Nicolas Jackson because such statements are irrelevant to his job. The Belgian is generally interested in his team and what happens in the dressing room and on the pitch. He prefers distancing himself from the politics inside the club, contrary to many of his predecessors.

Furthermore, Kompany is happy with the structure of his squad. In recent internal team meetings, the coach repeatedly praised his players, telling them: “The energy we’re bringing to the pitch is outstanding!”
