Darius Garland scored 32 points, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley recorded double-doubles and the Cleveland Cavaliers survived blowing an 18-point lead, beating the host Philadelphia 76ers 122-119 in overtime on Tuesday night in an NBA in-season tournament game.
The victory extended Cleveland's winning streak to four games and improved the Cavaliers to 2-1 in East Group A action in the in-season tournament. The win came after Philadelphia rallied from 18 down to take a 110-108 lead and Cleveland forced OT with Garland's free throws with 13.1 seconds left.
Allen logged 26 points and 13 rebounds, and Mobley had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Max Strus, who shot 5-for-10 from 3-point range, finished with 20 points for the Cavaliers.
Joel Embiid scored 32 points for the 76ers, and Tobias Harris scored 23. Philadelphia fell to 2-2 in in-season tournament play.
Pacers 157, Hawks 152
Tyrese Haliburton bounced back from his worst offensive game of the season with one of his best as he scored 37 points to help visiting Indiana overcome a 20-point deficit and beat Atlanta.
Haliburton, who scored a season-low 12 points against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, recovered to score 26 in the third quarter alone on Tuesday. Buddy Hield (24 points) made a 3-pointer with 53 seconds left to put the Pacers ahead 155-152.
Atlanta had a chance to tie when Trae Young (38 points) stole the ball with 13 seconds left, but Dejounte Murray (28 point) opted to drive for a layup rather than take a 3-point attempt, and he missed the shot.
Suns 120, Trail Blazers 107
Kevin Durant recorded 31 points and nine assists and Devin Booker scored 28 points as Phoenix topped visiting Portland.
Playing in his 1,000th career game, Durant moved into 11th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list with 27,331 points. Durant passed Hall of Famer Elvin Hayes, who had 27,313 points (1968-84).
Jerami Grant scored 26 points for the Trail Blazers, who lost their eighth consecutive game. Deandre Ayton played in Phoenix for the first time since the Suns dealt him to Portland. The former No. 1 overall draft choice had 18 points and eight rebounds.
Magic 126, Raptors 107
Paolo Banchero scored 25 points and Orlando defeated visiting Toronto in an NBA in-season tournament game.
Jalen Suggs added 18 points for the Magic, who have won four in a row. Franz Wagner scored 17 points and Cole Anthony contributed 15 points and 10 assists for the Magic. Moritz Wagner and Gary Harris each scored 10 points.
Dennis Schroder had 24 points for the Raptors. Pascal Siakam added 16 points and eight assists, Scottie Barnes had 14 points, OG Anunoby put up 11 points and Jakob Poeltl logged 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Lakers 131, Jazz 99
Anthony Davis had 26 points and 16 rebounds and Los Angeles finished 4-0 in group play of the NBA in-season tournament with a victory against visiting Utah.
D'Angelo Russell had 20 points and eight assists and LeBron James contributed 17 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for the Lakers. In the first quarter, James became the first player in NBA history to reach 39,000 points.
Omer Yurtseven scored 18 points off the bench and John Collins led the starters with 15 points for the Jazz, who fell to 2-2 in group play.
