She's passionate, sharp, honest, confident and gifted with a business acumen.
Meet Tanzania's second female professional boxing promoter Sadah Salum Kasonso (pictured) who says she will set alight Tanzania's commercial capital Dar es Salaam on Friday this week with her first promotion to feature two Africa Boxing Union (ABU) belt fights and one TPBRC title contest at Ubungo Plaza.
The other pro boxing female promoters in Tanzania are Siah Mosha of Grobox Promotions, the third one belongs to Mdemi Promotion while the fourth female promoter, Hadija Dokta, is planning an all-women's boxing card next month.
Sadah says she wants to outshine them all.
"I'm the best, the real deal. I'm therefore appealing to fans to turn up in large numbers for this exciting show on Friday, ndio maana twasema ngumi zilizonyooka," says Sadah.
"All fights will be hotly contested, those who'll not make it can watch the action on Azam TV. I will also deposit boxers' purse and payment for all those who'll be working for me with the Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission.
"Some rogue promoters have been staging fights without paying boxers plus other staff working for them. I'm different because I value human dignity and I also want to adhere to TPBRC regulations."
On why she has ventured into pro boxing, Sadah says:"I want to be the best female promoter and elevate pro boxing to a higher level with class, I'm also a staunch boxing fan, during the days of Mike Tyson our family used to wait until the wee hours we watch him fight. Generally I love combat sports including kick boxing."
Has she been in the ring?
"No I've not been a boxer, I'm just a staunch fan. You don't have to be a boxer to become a good promoter. The most important thing is professional management. People think as a woman I can't make it but I will prove them.
"I'm happy my husband supports me, so there's no obstacle for me. My other plan is to give women boxers every support not just through fights but shape them up to be attractive brands to be able to do commercial jobs for corporate organisation's, I want to change their image by guiding them on branding."
Sadah will promote Friday's 10-bout card through her company Kemmon Sports Agency in which she's the CEO.
Besides pro boxing, Sadan is also an event coordinator, artists manager and owns Cwty Shanga, a beads design business in Dar town.
"I promote other sports also like football and netball. In my Cwty Shanga business I make various products from beads, yaani shanga such as wallets, women's purses, bracelet, necklaces and table mats."
Sadah describes Dar es Salaam as East Africa's pro boxing capital.
"We're doing very well, way ahead of Kenya and Uganda, we have regular pro fights not only in Dar but in other towns also. I thank all the sponsors for making it happen becase in supporting us our youth benefit taking into account these days jobs are few. That's why I want professional boxing to be more vibrant in Tanzania for our youth to benefit."
In Friday's card, homeboy Selemani Kidunda (8-0-1, 7KOs) will take on DR Congo's Johannesburg-based Patrick Mukala (14-2-1, 13 KOs) for Africa Boxing Union super-middleweight belt while Tony Rashid (14-2-2, 10 KOs) fights South Africa's Sebelo Ngebinyana (15-6-0, 11 KOs) for ABU super-bantamweight title. The TPBRC super-bantamweight title will feature Oscar Richard Duge vs Adam Mbega.
