Ghanaian International Christian Atsu has been found dead inside rubble at his home in Turkey.
It was reported that Atsu was pulled aluve but a day later the story changed.
Its been ywo weeks since he was reported missing.
The Ghanaian star had stints with Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea.
"There are no words to describe our sadness," said a tweet from his Turkish top-flight club Hatayspor.
"We will not forget you, Atsu. Peace be upon you, beautiful person."
Death toll from the massive earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria has reached a staggering number of more than 45,000 people.
