CHELSEA DEFENDER MALANG SARR COMPLETES MOVE TO FRENCH LIGUE 1 SIDE AS MONACO

Chelsea defender Malang Sarr is happy to play for French giants AS Monaco for the rest of 2022-23 season.

Sarr is on loan to AS Monaco and the deal has a clause to buy him.

Initially he was set to join Chelsea's west London rival club Fulham but he snubbed them.

He played for Nice before joining the Blues in 2020 and now he is happy to be back in the French Ligue.

He failed to make a breakthrough at Chelsea hence wasting his time there but now he will be active with his new club.

"I am very happy to join AS Monaco and to be back in Ligue 1, a league in which I started and which I know well," Sarr told Monaco’s website. "I would like to thank the club for its confidence [in me]. I am now looking forward to blending in with my new surroundings," he added.
