Wayne Rooney has agreed in principle to coach D.C. United according to a source close to the deal.
The source talked to Associated Press in anonymity because the deal has yet to be announced.
Rooney, a Manchester United legend, was once a part on D.C. United in 2018 and 2019 is in a process of finalizing Visa issues before taking Chad Ashton's coaching job.
D.C United currently is a terrible team in the MLS and needs to be revamped. They lost 7-0 to Philadelphia Union
