Roman Abramovich has now been disqualified as a director of Chelsea Football Club by the Premier League board.The decision follows sanctioning of Abramovich by the United Kingdom government that imposed severe operational restrictions on Chelsea.
Chelsea has become collateral damage from the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The club will face the brunt of sanctions before a new owner comes to the rescue.
