PELÉ | A TRUE LEGEND

Pelé is a true legend, and no other player deserves that title like he does. When Pelé played in the 1958 World Cup in Sweden, he was just 17 years old—a teenager! He played a few minutes in the quarterfinals and scored a fantastic goal against Peru. Then in the semifinals, he went up against France, which had the strongest defense and offense in the world at the time. But this teenager completely tore them apart, scoring a hat-trick to lead Brazil to the final.

In the final against Sweden, the host nation and one of the strongest teams with the best goalkeeper in the world, the giant Simonsson, Pelé showed his greatness. He scored two goals, including a legendary second goal that's still considered one of the most beautiful World Cup goals ever. And remember, he lifted the World Cup trophy at just 17 years old. That's why Pelé is the true football legend.
