LOUIS VAN GAAL: EX-MANCHESTER UNITED BOSS VAN GAAL RETIRES FROM COACHING

Former Manchester United and Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal said he is retiring from coaching for good.
Reasons behind his decision are due to "events in his family".

Van Gaal told the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that "so much has happened in my family".

His daughter lost a husband so that also may be a factor in making his decision.

The 65 year-old coach was also in charge of Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AZ.

Van Gaal started by playing midfield for Ajax, Royal Antwerp, Telstar, Sparta Rotterdam and AZ.

His playing days were between 1972 and 1987.

Now he is retiring with plenty of lucrative offers from Asia.
