AFCON 2017: GUINEA-BISSAAU HOLD HOSTS GABON TO A 1-1 DDRAW


The biggest African football stage has begun in Gabon as AFCON 2017 kicks off to a surprising start...Guinea-Bissau the new comers have managed to hold hosts Gabon to a 1-1 draw...




It all started with Gabon missing a chance early as their star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could not manage to score but later he managed to put 1 in as it was his only chance of the game...



Guinea-Bissau were about to loose but thanks to Juary Soares's header late in the game...The game was good and credit to Guinea as their efforts were rewarded...The Wild Dogs are the smallest nation in the competition and they got their 1st point for the 1st time in a majour tournament...



Gabon need to up their game more if they want to go all the way...The fans were not happy at all with Gabon's performance ant they made it clear at the end...Guinea-Bissau's boss, Baciro Cande, said "We are very, very happy. Now we have the motivation to go as far as possible."
