CAF: ISSA HAYATOU OUSTED IN ADDIS ABABA


A new era in African football has begun as the prominent Issa Hayatou has had been ousted as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) president...
A shocking defeat that was not expected at some quarter's...The new African football Chief is non-other than Ahman Ahmad...


Hayatou has been on the helm for 29 years...He was Blatter's right hand man and he did plenty to help African football but time surely was up for him and change was inevitable...Haytou headed CAF since 1988 and is still a senior Vice President at FIFA... The veteran Hayatou was ousted in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa...Ahmad Ahmad got 34 votes and Hayatou 20...


"When you try to do something, you mean that you can do it," Ahmad told reporters..."If I can't do it, I never stand"...Ahmad who is 57 years old took over as Madagascar Federation boss in 2003...Previously he was a player and he coached as well...Max Sports congratulates Ahmad Ahmad for becoming the new CAF president.
