Mboya is famous for his monumental role in the birth, establishment and growth of Gor Mahia FC.
Gor Mahia Football club was formed on February 17 1968 following the amalgamation of Luo Union FC and Luo Stars football clubs. However the history of the club goes back to the 1950s with the formation of Luo Union FC.
The original Luo Union FC was formed in the 1950s and was the brainchild of freedom fighter Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. Luo Union FC finished second in the first ever Kenyan national league held in 1963 and then won the league in 1964 with players like the legendary keeper James Sianga, Stephen Yongo, Fred Siranga, and Daniel Nicodemus "Arudhi". In 1965 they finished second to Feisal of Mombasa on goal difference.

Jonas Vingegaard won back-to-back men's Tour de France titles after safely finishing Sunday's final stage, which was won by Belgian Jordi Meeus, while Tadej Pogacar again entertained the crowd.
Slovenian Pogacar, who showed flair and panache as he attacked on the Champs Elysees, was second with his UAE Emirates team mate, Briton Adam Yates, taking third place.
Belgian Jasper Philipsen won the green jersey for the points classification with Italian Giulio Ciccone taking the polka dot jersey for the mountains classification.

Kim Kardashian is always at the center of some drama and Friday night in Miami was no exception as she hung out with her sister Khloe's ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.
Decked out in all black leather, Kim was spotted with Tristan at Gekko, a Japanese restaurant, after she and her son, Saint, attended soccer star Lionel Messi's first game as an Inter Miami FC.
Tristan was also present to see Messi's game winning 2-1 goal with a bevy of other celebs, including Lebron James, Serena Williams, and David and Victoria Beckham.

British heavyweight Tom Aspinall made a triumphant return to MMA with a devastating first-round knockout of Marcin Tybura in the main event of Saturday's UFC Fight Night at the O2 Arena, almost a year to the day after tearing his MCL.
Aspinall's last visit to the octagon ended after just 15 seconds of his bout against Curtis Blaydes as his knee gave out, and he almost brought his comeback fight to a close at the same mark with a head kick that wobbled his Polish opponent.

Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic will not play in their pre-season friendly against Brentford as the Serb is not training properly, manager Marco Silva said after the London club reportedly rejected a bid for the striker from Saudi side Al Hilal.
British media reported that Fulham rejected a 25 million pound ($32.14 million) bid for the 28-year-old, who has three years left on his contract.
Mitrovic has been Fulham's top scorer in four of their last five seasons, netting 14 Premier League goals in the 2022-23 campaign to guide them to 10th spot.
Silva said he had already spoken to Mitrovic but the matter was out of his hands.
