South African 🇿🇦 Alan Hatherly made history by defending his Cross-country Olympic (XCO) World Champion title at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
After becoming the first South African to win the elite men’s XCO crown in 2024, his 2025 repeat cemented his place in the sport’s history, making him the first from his nation to claim back-to-back titles.
